Murchison falls National Park Uganda, Murchison Falls Safari Tour Uganda
The biggest and oldest protected area in Uganda measuring 5072sqkm located north western Uganda. This is a renowned safari destination in east Africa despite heavy poaching it suffered during 1970’s. Out door activities like wildlife viewing, launch cruise, trekking primates and forest hikes can all be found at this destination while on a Uganda tour. This park hosted great adventurers such as Sir Samuel Baker, Ernest Hemmingway, Sir John Speke and Sir Winston Churchill who have contributed to the popularity of this area park.

Murchison fall protected area comprises of adjacent wildlife reserves of Karuma, Bugungu and Budongo forest all with rich wildlife varieties. It is the most bio-diverse area with huge herds of recovering elephants, buffalos, and Rothschild’s giraffe appearing in hundreds. Antelopes like gazelles, waterbucks, duikers, topis, bush backs and reedbucks are easy to spot during the game drives.
