Safari to Queen Elizabeth National Park 3 and 4 days

The park is located in the western arm of the East African Rift valley, this park is bordered by Lakes George and Edward and the two are connected by Kazinga Channel. In terms of biodiversity this is one of the highly rated parks in the world. It includes, open savannah, green meadows, semi- deciduous tropical forests, dense equatorial rain forest and dense papyrus swamps.

TOURIST ACTIVITIES

GAME DRIVE
The best time being early morning and late afternoon hours. Expect to see Buffaloes, bush bucks, herds of Elephants, the legendary giant forest hog, Lions, herds of Uganda kob. A must drive to the Ishasha sector on the southern part of the park for the famous tree climbing lion. You will also be able to spot topis and colobus monkeys.

LAUNCH TRIP
This trip which takes place along the Kazinga channel is very eventful. View Buffaloes, Hippos yawning, and herds of elephants, crocodiles and occasionally leopards.

BIRD WATCHING
With over 600 bird species, this is an excellent place for bird watchers. Species include Shoebill stork, the African fish eagles, Martial eagle, Papyrus gonalek and many others.

NATURE WALKS
Maramagambo rain forest is a good option for an alluring selection of forest monkeys and birds while the kyambura Gorge for habituated chimps.
